Dr Krishna P Singh Foundation is developing a state-of-the-art 250-bed multi-specialty hospital in Barahiya, Bihar, to provide accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare to rural and underserved communities.

The project aims to reduce the financial burden of healthcare on rural households while strengthening the region’s medical infrastructure. Designed as an integrated healthcare and education campus, the initiative combines advanced medical facilities with professional training programs to ensure long-term sustainability and community development.

The proposed hospital will feature modern diagnostic and imaging facilities, fully equipped laboratories, emergency and critical care units, a blood bank, oxygen generation plant, and comprehensive biomedical waste management systems. Residential accommodation for doctors and staff will ensure uninterrupted, high-quality healthcare services.

In its second phase, the campus will include a Nursing College / Medical Training Centre with academic facilities, skill labs, and student hostels. This expansion will help build local healthcare capacity, create employment opportunities, and develop a steady pipeline of trained medical professionals.

Spread across 2.65 acres, with a planned built-up area of approximately 3,00,000 sq. ft., the integrated campus is projected to serve over 25,000 patients annually from Barahiya and surrounding villages.

This project represents a long-term commitment to patient-centric care, medical education, and sustainable community development in Bihar.
